1) The Child's Placket Sweater from Last Minute Knitted Gifts. I'm doing it with Jaeger Merino DK in a chocolate which I had bought in mass quantity for a sweater that I was going to knit for Peter, but no longer am (it waited too long and isn't as stylish as it looked three years ago).
2) The Henry Scarf from the fall issue of Knitty. This is going to be Peter's christmas present (he already knows) to go with his nice winter dress coat that is a cholocate brown. I'm doing it in a tan heather alpaca yarn that comes from a women's cooperative in Bolivia.
3) The Foliage Hats, also from the fall Knitty. I have some extra Malabrigo lying around, so I wanted to try this cute fun pattern. They will also be Christmas presents for people who do not know, so I'm not disclosing their names.I knit up a swatch and started the sweater last night. I expect it to go pretty quickly, which is good since it's for a baby, and they grow so fast. I'll post pictures of my progress.
Wish me luck on my interviews! I'll definitely need it!
